Reality TV star Shannon Beador was arrested in Newport Beach, California, for allegedly driving under the influence and committing a hit-and-run.
Reportedly, she struck a house and attempted to drive away before parking in the middle of the street with her dog.
Police were alerted and found her appearing intoxicated. She was subsequently taken into custody and booked for hit-and-run and DUI alcohol, with her car seized for investigation. Beador was cited and released without bond.
This incident comes after a tumultuous period in her personal life, including a breakup with John Janssen and previous incidents involving public disagreements.
On a recent episode of “Real Housewives of Orange County,” her co-star Gina Kirschenheiter suggested Beador needed professional help for her drinking problem.
“Shannon says s–t, and then she wants to pretend that she didn’t do it, and if you can say things that are that f–king hurtful and not even remember you said it, you need to go f–king check yourself into rehab,” Kirschenheiter emotionally said in a confessional.
